Affiliate Program Terms

The Winstia affiliate program is run by Buddha Overseas, the business behind Winstia (see our Imprint). Joining is free. You can promote Winstia once we have approved your application, and you take part as an independent affiliate, not as our employee, agent or partner.

You earn 10% of every payment a customer you referred makes for a paid Winstia plan: the first payment (after the free trial, if they had one), every monthly or yearly renewal, and any charge for an upgrade, for as long as that customer stays subscribed. There is no cap.

Commission is worked out on what the customer actually pays us after any discount or credit, excluding tax. Paddle's payment fees are not deducted. A free trial, the Free plan and any other payment of $0 earn nothing.

Commission is calculated and paid in US dollars. Where a customer pays in another currency, we use Paddle's US-dollar conversion of that payment; if a US-dollar amount is not available, that commission waits until we have reviewed it.

You earn commission only while your affiliate account is active. Payments made while it is not active, for example before approval or after it is closed, earn nothing.

A customer counts as yours when they create their Winstia account after opening your referral link, and within 30 days of opening it. Accounts created before the click don't count, and neither does a business that has already paid us.

We record each click on our own servers. On winstia.com, your link is remembered only if the visitor accepts the affiliate cookie. A link straight to the sign-up page counts when the visitor creates their account during that visit.

Each business is credited to one affiliate only, and the credit is not moved later.

You can't refer yourself. No commission is earned on a business that signs up with your email address, or that you own or control.

Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment it comes from, which is longer than our 14-day refund window. It is then approved automatically and added to your approved balance, unless the payment has been refunded in full. A commission on a payment that is under dispute waits until the dispute is settled.

A payment that is refunded or charged back earns no commission, and a partial refund reduces the commission in proportion. If that commission has already been paid to you, the same amount is deducted from your next payout. If a chargeback is later decided in our favour, the commission is restored.

The minimum payout is $100. On the 1st of each month we raise a payout for every active affiliate whose approved balance is $100 or more and who has a payout method set in the affiliate portal, and we pay it by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer. A balance under $100 carries over to the next month.

You can also request a payout yourself in the affiliate portal any time your approved balance is $100 or more.

Promote Winstia honestly. Don't make claims about Winstia that aren't on our website, don't present yourself as Winstia, and don't send spam.

Commission earned through fraud, including fake or self-made accounts, made-up clicks, or any other attempt to manipulate attribution, is forfeited, and we may close your affiliate account.

You are responsible for any tax due on the commission you receive.

We may change these terms. We will email you at least 14 days before a change takes effect, and commission on payments made before then follows the terms that applied when the payment was made.
